After every interview
When an interview ends, the interviewer is asked for a scorecard. It takes about a minute from a phone.
- Technical skill (1 to 5): diagnostic approach, tools, certifications in practice.
- Communication (1 to 5): can they explain a repair to an advisor or a customer?
- Culture fit (1 to 5): how they'd work with your team and your standards.
- Availability (1 to 5): start date, schedule, Saturdays.
- Recommendation: hire, maybe or pass, with notes.
Scores show on the candidate's page next to their fit score. If two people interview, you see both.
Write notes you'd be comfortable having the candidate read. Stick to what they said and did.
