Pick a template

Templates are written for automotive roles and include a description, requirements, benefits, a typical pay range and screening questions. Every field is editable.

  1. Go to Jobs and select New job (/app/jobs/new).
  2. Choose a template: master technician, general technician, lube technician, service advisor, shop manager or office admin. Or start blank.
  3. Pick the location the job is at.

Fill in the details

  1. Title: use the words techs search for. “ASE Master Technician” gets more clicks than “Automotive Professional III”.
  2. Pay: choose hourly, flat rate, salary or commission and enter a range. Listings with pay get noticeably more applicants on Indeed and ZipRecruiter, and some states require it.
  3. Description, requirements and benefits: one item per line. They show as bullet lists on your career page.
  4. Screening questions: keep three to five. Use yes/no for must-haves like own tools or a valid license, and a number question for years of experience.
  5. Hiring manager: who gets new-applicant alerts and whose calendar interviews are booked on.
  6. Job boards: tick Indeed and ZipRecruiter if they're connected.

Publish

Select Post job to make it live on your career page and send it to the boards you ticked. Save draft keeps it private.

From the job page you can pause it (hidden everywhere, applicants kept), close it (no new applicants) or duplicate it for another location.

Hiring for the same role at two shops? Post one job per location. Applicants search by town, and each shop's pipeline stays clean.
