How check-ins work

When someone is hired, check-ins are scheduled at 30, 60 and 90 days after their start date. Two short surveys go out each time: one to the new hire and one to their manager. Each takes about a minute.

  • The new hire rates, from 1 to 5, how satisfied they are, how clear their role is and how well they fit with the team, with room for comments.
  • The manager rates performance, attendance and culture fit from 1 to 5, and answers whether they'd hire this person again.

Results appear on the employee's page under New hires (/app/employees). Low scores are highlighted so you can have the conversation early.

Retention analytics

Over time, Reports shows retention by fit score band and by source, so you can see whether strong-fit hires and referral hires actually stay longer at your shop.
